Operation Smile Annual International Student Leadership Conference

Operation Smile, the international children’s medical charity, recently held its 24th annual International Student Leadership Conference at Chapman University in Orange, California. More than 500 students from 27 countries came together to learn leadership and public speaking skills, learn from a host of nationally known speakers and work together on service projects. Each student in attendance is an active member of the Operation Smile Student Club and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to further Operation Smile’s mission. Many of these students will have the opportunity to go on an Operation Smile medical mission in the coming year.

Globally, thousands of students in more than 900 schools are involved with Operation Smile and raise an estimated $1 million annually for the organization.
