Teachers Vote 'No Confidence' in Superintendent
The move follows criminal charges against Jeffrey Hubbard from his time running another school district.

On a no-confidence resolution for their superintendent , 379 teachers cast their vote Thursday. Of those, 91.2 percent voted no confidence in Hubbard, the head of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
There was no celebration about the vote. In fact, the atmosphere was solemn. Kimberly Claytor, the union president, expressed sadness over the reasons for the vote. She recounted the points spelled out in the resolution, and added that the inequity in the district is legion. Her hope is that school board trustees are listening.
