Teenage Pedestrian Gravely Injured by Car on PCH

A girl suffered life-threatening head injuries when she was struck by a car near the entrance of Bolsa Chica State Beach.

A teenage girl was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach tonight.

It happened about 8:45 p.m. on the northbound side of PCH near the traffic signal at the entrance of Bolsa Chica State Beach, between Goldenwest Street and Warner Avenue, Huntington Beach police Lt. Bo Svendsbo said.

The girl suffered life-threatening head injuries and was taken to a hospital, the lieutenant said.
