Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, if you don't care about much size, then it might be worth getting wet. Overall we're back to small mode just about everywhere.
We're starting off with some clean and glassy conditions, with a mixture of some minor lingering west northwest swell and a little southerly energy in the water. That recipe is offering some racy sectiony lines, with a few fun corners.
Most Newport Beach spots are running about knee-to waist-high, with the standout breaks pulling maybe an occasional bigger one.

At 5:19 a.m the tide dropped to a 1.5 low which will have many spots needing water early on. The tide then climbs back up to a 3.9 high at 11:03 a.m and then drops once again to a 1.0 low at 5:14 p.m.
If you're going to grab a session, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
