Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, she's having a difficult time getting out of this super small spell. Yep, unfortunately this latest run of swells isn't providing much of anything to this stretch of coast.
The good news is the conditions are nicely groomed thanks to the light to moderate offshore winds which are sticking around for another day. We're seeing some supposedly increasing west northwest swell.
That recipe is offering some little semi-wally lines, with a few fun workable corners on a longboard! Most spots in Newport Beach are running about ankle -to knee-high, with the top combo breaks pulling some waist-high waves.

At 9:06 a.m the tide drops to a 1.5 low which will have many breaks lacking water mid-morning. The tide then pushes up just a tad to a 2.3 low at 3:15 p.m.
If you're going to grab a session, get out at least a 3/2 full and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
