Wine Education Series: Wines of Italy (Piedmonte & Tuscany) October 1

Join us on October 1 at 6 pm to continue our Wine Education Series. This event will be held at Back Bay Bistro located in Newport Beach. We will be comparing and contrasting the two most famous regions of Italy; Piedmonte in the Northwest, and Tuscany halfway down the Mediterranean coast. Learn about the different grapes from each region, how the wines are classified and regulated, what to expect from a Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello, Chianti or Supertuscan. Italy has more wine regions than you can shake a stick at, but this is an introduction to two of the most major ones- with a few tips about other parts thrown in as we go!
