Danny Minnick grew up as a city kid in Seattle, Washington. He began skating at the age of 11 and at 14 he emerged into the skateboarding Industry when Seattle Washington's legendary skateboarding shop and team (Fall Out Records and Skateboards) They saw much potential and decided to sponsor him right off the cuff. One year later; H Street Skateboards picked him up along with riders Danny Way and Eric Koston. Danny then moved to San Diego, California where he trained and skated with the company's team. Danny filmed his first video (documentary) there with an intro climbing the Mirage Hotel Volcano in Las Vegas! Upon finishing his first debut, Danny returned to Seattle to finish his high school years. Their he began Documenting footage of his own skating as well as filming his teammates work, which drove him to have a love and passion for film and all that was to come. Within the first couple of years of experimenting and developing his craft in film; H Streets Plan B Owner/Director and Film maker Mike Ternasky; who was an inspiration to Danny, passed away. Danny's compassion compelled him to dedicate his first film to Mike Ternasky and his vision for the H Street's team riders. he titled it . Brotherly Love, in which he filmed, directed and edited.
