U2 To Play the Roxy Tonight
U2 will play for 500 fans as the second major band to play a tiny Hollywood venue over the last week.
First the Rolling Stones performed at a small Hollywood club to prepare for the band’s tour. Now it’s U2’s turn to perform at an intimate Southland venue.
The band -- in the midst of a five-performance run at the Forum -- will appear tomorrow night at The Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip for about 500 fans lucky enough to score tickets.
Radio station KROQ is giving away tickets every 30 minutes for the concert at the theater, 9009 W. Sunset Blvd.
