Big Rig Pileup Backs Up 118 Freeway

PORTER RANCH, CA — A multi-vehicle pileup involving a big rig on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway left four people injured and closed at least two lanes Friday morning.

The crash happened at Tampa Avenue in the Porter Ranch area at about 8:10 a.m. The four and five lanes of the westbound side of the freeway have been blocked, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
