Burglars Disabled Cameras During Attempted Break-In At Diddy's Son's LA Home: Reports

There was an attempted burglary at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs' son's homes overnight Thursday.

PORTER RANCH, CA — An attempted burglary was reported at the San Fernando Valley home of one of Sean "Diddy" Combs' sons early Thursday morning, according to reports.

Officers responded to the 11900 block of Churchill Way regarding an attempted burglary “hot prowl," KTLA reported. The home is located in a suburban neighborhood of modern tract homes on the north side of the 118 Freeway.

The caller — identified as Christian "King" Combs' girlfriend, Raven Tracy — told police people were attempted to break into the home. She said she was out of town but saw the attempted break in on a Ring camera. Though Combs and an employee were inside the home, TMZ reported.

The cameras captured two suspects before they managed to disable the system using Wi-Fi jammers, Fox 11 reported.

The LAPD has warned residents about a rise in thieves using such techniques. The jammers are devices that block or disrupt nearby Wi-Fi devices, such a security cameras or security systems.

Police said the intruders broke a rear sliding-glass door and tried to unlock another door, but never entered the home, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Authorities said the sound of the door being smashed led neighbors to believe gunfire was involved, prompting at least one additional report to police. Police said no shots were fired, Fox 11 reported.

The suspects fled before police arrived.
