Fire Damages 3 Buildings In The Winnetka Area
The blaze broke out following a weekend of hot, windy and dry conditions as the Santa Ana winds blow through the area.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Flames engulfed a two-story home under construction and spread to two adjacent buildings in the Winnetka area early Monday morning.
Firefighters were able to knockdown the blaze, which remains under investigation, said Margaret Stewart, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson.
The fire broke out around 1:35 a.m. at 7950 N. Laramie Ave Monday. Crews arrived to find a heavily involved fire.

"Firefighters fought fire in all three buildings and achieved a knockdown in 46 mins with no injuries reported," she said. "Of the two exposed buildings, one sustained fire damage in the attic and the other on the 2nd floor."
