It's Going To Be Hot In The San Fernando Valley
While June gloom keeps the rest of the region fairly cool, a ridge of high pressure will bring highs in the 90s to the Valley: BREAKING.

The high forecast in Downtown L.A. -- 78 degrees Fahrenheit -- is right about where it should be, said National Weather Service meteorologist Curt Kaplan, but the 92 expected in Woodland Hills will be four degrees above normal as a result of an upper-level ridge of high pressure.
The NWS forecast a mix of partly cloudy and sunny skies in Los Angeles County Friday, along with highs of 71 at LAX; 74 in Avalon; 78 in Long Beach and Downtown L.A.; 81 on Mount Wilson; 84 in Burbank and San Gabriel; 86 in Pasadena; 91 in Saugus; 92 in Woodland Hills; 94 in Palmdale; and 95 in Lancaster.
