North Bay festival celebrates 30th anniversary on a sun-splashed day.

The Novato Festival of Art, Wine and Music celebrated its 30th anniversary in grand fashion on a sun-splashed day that featured fun and entertainment for those of just about all ages.

As temperatures soared into the 90's under a hot North Bay sun, visitors sipped Napa Valley wines and sucked on Italian ices.

The Tubes, a 1980s superband, and The Americans, a band with local ties, performed on Saturday. They are among 26 bands performing at this weekend's festival.

The festival continues on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
