Thanksgiving comes but once a year, and our attitude of gratitude for serving youth and families carries throughout the entire year. Here at the Novato Youth Center, we are proud to embrace, respect and serve everyone, regardless of their background, sexual orientation, immigration and and/or socio-economic status. In this time of change, at the Center we apply our organizational values in all that we do to help build an equitable community in Novato. We want to practice Collaboration and Teamwork, be Culturally Competent, practice Excellence in our programs, have Integrity, and foster a Learning and Continuous Improvement environment.
Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that the youth have:
- A healthy start at each stage of their development
- A safe place to be
- Effective educational support
- Caring adults in their lives
- High and well-balanced expectations of themselves and their peers
- Meaningful participation and connections in the Novato community
We are proud to provide youth and families, particularly those in need, with comprehensive programs that connect them to resources, strengthen skills, build community, and support their academic, emotional, and physical growth. Our Novato Youth Center Family will continue to have open doors, with an attitude of gratitude, acceptance, and harmony.
