Ceramic Platter (large plate) making is perfect for the holidays! 11-Adult
Learning to work from clay in it’s raw state, rolling it out (slabs), then putting
clay onto a slump mold (the thing that gives it shape), following through with added embellishing to the final touch of glazing. The end results are a platter created with your own hands that will hold many wonderful family memories.
Teaching elements of clay, surface design techniques, and use of tools will all be covered.
