Coroner IDs Man Killed In Novato Crash
Phaivanh Adidas Chanthalangsy, 45, of Santa Rosa, was killed in a fiery rollover crash early Sunday morning on Highway 101.

NOVATO, CA – Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a fiery rollover crash early Sunday morning on Highway 101 in Novato.
Phaivanh Adidas Chanthalangsy, 45, of Santa Rosa, was the driver and sole occupant of a vehicle that went off the roadway at Atherton Avenue, overturned on its roof and caught fire, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was first reported at 2:32 a.m.
The cause and manner of the victim's death were pending a post mortem examination, toxicology results and the conclusion of a joint investigation by the California Highway Patrol and Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

"The personnel of the Marin County Sheriff's Office extend our condolences to Mr. Chanthalangsy's family and friends during this difficult time," said Roger G. Fielding, coroner investigator with the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
