Firefighters and Kid Chefs Cook-off
4th annual Novato Youth Chili Academy Cook-off, March 2 4-6pm
Please join us on March 2, 4-6pm for the 4th annual Novato Youth Chili Academy Cook Off –
bringing firefighters and kid chefs together for a fiery competition to benefit youth programs in Novato. Admission is free and no rsvp is necessary. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 – over $2,000 in prizes to be won. Event location: Novato Youth Center, 680 Wilson Avenue.
Your community partners the Novato Youth Center and the Novato Fire Foundation would like to ask for
your support in raising critical funds for youth programming in Novato. Proceeds
raised will directly support the following youth programs in Novato:
- Educational programs at the Novato Youth Center. Sparks Enrichment Programs for youth ages 5-14 years. These critical programs support youth as they develop their academic, physical, social and emotional skills. Your support will ensure that low- and moderate-income students can enroll in the programs and stay on a path of academic excellence, leadership and college success.
- Educational programs by the Novato Fire Foundation through the Novato Fire Squirts Program, designed for the enrichment of at-risk youth ages 10-14 years. The program teaches them teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.
