International College of Dentists USA Section Announces New inductee Dr. Katie Bales

(Novato, California) – Local Orthodontist, Dr. Kathleen Bales, was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists at its 87th Annual Convocation in Denver, Colorado on October 21, 2016.

An honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession and community, the College presented Dr. Katie Bales with a membership plaque, a gold lapel pin and a gold key symbolic of this Fellowship for conspicuous service rendered in the art and science of Dentistry.

In an impressive cap and gown ceremony, 320 dentists from the United States were inducted into the College at this year’s ceremony witnessed by hundreds of members and guests. The College, with representative chapters in more than 120 countries, has over 11,000 members, including about 6,500 in the United States.

Dr. Katie was born and raised in Marin County and joined her Father, Dr. Tom Bales, in the family Orthodontic practice in both Novato and Santa Rosa in 2006. For forty years the Bales’ have been creating beautiful smiles for local families. Dr. Katie and her husband reside in Novato and are raising their family in the community that they love.
