Meet our new Sparks Enrichment School Age Teacher at the Novato Youth Center!
My name is Gaby Garcia, I'm 21 years old and I'm a Novato resident. I graduated from San Marin High School in 2013 and attended California State University, Chico. Earlier this Spring I became the first in my family to have attended and graduated from college. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Child Development and I minored in Special Education. I hope to start pursuing my goal of earning my Masters Degree in the fall of 2018. I did numerous internships in both the general and special education field while completing my BA. I have worked with children in Preschool through High School, including moderate to severe special needs children.
I can describe my self as being an adventurous, dedicated and hardworking individual. I love to play soccer, play musical instruments, spend time with my family, and go on hikes with my dog in my free time. I am very excited to get challenged and to see myself grow with this new experience.
