The Novato High School Varsity Cheer & Dance team, reigning USA National champions captured first place at the USA Regional competition held on Sunday November 13 at American Canyon High School. The NHS Varsity Cheer & Dance team also qualified for the National competition to be held in Anaheim in March where the team will compete to defend their reigning USA National champion title. “Congratulations for an amazing performance, “said Patti Nave, NHS Cheer Director. Patti is assisted by head coach Dolly Nave-Kirkpatrick; assistant coaches: Bridget Santella and Marcy Lee. This year the Hornets are led by team captains Eliana Katelanis, Daniella Ingargiola and Kaziah Watson. Team members are Shayda Bakhtiari, Cinthia Benitez, Priscilla Cervantes, Alex De Greef, Gisselle De Leon, Kenya Dickerson, Kylee Early, Caitlin Harris, Jordan Hovey, Nami Kong, Kaia Lee, Lily Manshouri, Roya Manshouri, Natalie Moran, Lauren Pratt, Arianna Sabatella, Kiley Santella, Megan Santella.
