Novato Police Need Public's Help Identifying Stolen Property
The stolen property includes jewelry, power tools, antique sewing machines, clothing and purses, power equipment and electronic devices.

NOVATO, CA – Police have recovered property stolen during recent thefts this month in Novato.
The property, which includes jewelry, power tools, antique sewing machines, clothing and purses, power equipment and electronic devices, was found June 13 in a residence in the 2200 block of Laguna Vista Drive, police said. Other recovered items include other antiques, a Winchester safe, and golf bags and clubs.
"This search was performed in response to an increased amount of reported thefts in the city of Novato," police said. "Probation searches are an investigative tool used by law enforcement to prevent and solve crime."

Police are asking the public in the greater Marin County area to help identify the stolen property. Anyone who was a victim of a theft in Novato is asked to file a crime report online. English and Spanish forms are available. Email the crime report number to crimetips@novato.org.
Theft victims living outside Novato are urged to file a crime report with their local law enforcement agency and email the report to crimetips@novato.org.

Theft victims should give a detailed description of the stolen property, when it was stolen and any suspect leads.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are not disclosing the name of the suspects at this time.
