Novato Sunrise Rotary Speaker Program - NPD Recruitment and Retention by Captain Correa, 7:15am, Tuesday, 08/29 at Moylan's

You are invited to our club's (www.NovatoSunriseRotary.org) Breakfast Meeting and Speaker Presentation on Tuesday, 08/29, 7:15am at Moylan's.

Captain Jim Correa will be speaking about happenings in the Novato Police Department with an emphasis on Recruitment and Retention of our police force.

Captain Correa, born in NYC and grew up in San Rafael, is a long time Novato resident, and was hired as a Captain with the Novato Police Department in May 2017. Jim graduated from the Police Academy in 1997 and began the field-training program at the San Rafael Police Department. He worked a variety of assignments, including being a field-training officer, member of the Street Crimes Unit, Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Detective, Corporal, Sergeant, and Ultimately was promoted to Lieutenant.

Captain Correa is fluent in Spanish and has a BA from USF and MA from Golden Gate University in Public Administration.
