Heads-Up Teens in Novato! Our Novato Wellness Center’s Monday Teen Clinic is moving and transforming! If you are a parent or guardian of a teen, please tell them about our location change. On July 11th, we are reopening as the Novato Teen Clinic at 6090 Redwood Blvd in the Marin Community Clinics’ expanded location. Look for the door with the green star.
Each Monday from 1:30 – 5:00pm, the Novato Teen Clinic offers a free, confidential drop-in clinic for teens ages 12-21 to access reproductive and behavioral health care. We test for pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. We also provide birth control, condoms, mental health counseling, and pelvic exams for those who are experiencing symptoms.
Teens are screened for depression, anxiety, risk of suicide, and substance abuse. Free counseling and health education are for teens who are stressed or feeling down, or who simply want to get the facts about avoiding pregnancy and STIs. Reproductive health care is provided by Marin Community Clinics and behavioral health care and health education is provided by the Novato Youth Center.
