Suspected DUI Arrest After Car Slides Down Hill
"Our roads are treacherous enough today without introducing impaired driving into the mix," the Marin CHP said.
MARINWOOD, CA – A motorist was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence Tuesday morning after the California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle driving off Highway 101 near Marinwood, and officers then contacted the female driver, according to authorities.
The incident was logged shortly before 10 a.m. along northbound Highway 101, north of Marinwood, the CHP said.
"Callers stated the driver stuck the center divide and then drove right off the road and down a hill," the CHP said, adding that its "plate has been quite full since last night with all sorts of weather-related calls."

Officers at the scene detemined "there was more than weather playing into this crash," and field-tested the driver for sobriety, after which she was arrested.
