Police Seek To Identify Petaluma Bank Robber
The bank robbery was reported at 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Petaluma Police Department.

PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma bank was robbed Wednesday by a man who passed a note to a teller and demanded cash, according to the Petaluma Police Department. At 4:43 p.m., dispatchers received a call about the robbery at Bank Of America on N. McDowell Boulevard. A silent alarm from the bank was received at the same time, police said.
When officers arrived at the scene the suspect was gone, having left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Bank employees told officers they did not see a weapon and it remained unknown whether he was armed with one when he passed a note demanding money, according to police.

Police said the suspect was described as an Asian or Hispanic man who appeared to be about 40 years old. He was carrying a gray and black messenger-style bag and was wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt with a camouflage A's logo on the front, blue jeans, a dark-colored baseball cap with a light-colored bill, and light-colored shoes.
The surveillance images show the robber also wore dark sunglasses and had a light-colored bandanna around his neck.

No injuries were reported in the incident, according to police.
"At this time detectives are seeking assistance identifying the suspect," police officials said in a news release. "Anyone who has information regarding the identity of this suspect or their whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective McGreevy at 778-4372."
