Thomas Gibson, San Marin Sophomore, ranks 3rd in State at State Mountain Biking Championships

San Marin Sophomore, Thomas Gibson, finished an impressive 3rd Place at the State Mountain Biking Championships in Petaluma on Sunday for D2. Additionally, and setting a new record for the sport in Novato, the San Marin Mountain Biking team placed 2nd out of 95 teams in D2. Representing the team at the State Championships were Athena Guinard (Varsity, 27th), Thomas Gibson (Sophomore, 3rd), Tara Gibson (Fresman, 9th), Wilson Perry (Freshman, 12th), and Sebastian Dow (JV, 7th). The State Championships mark the end of the high school mountain biking season. The season will begin again in December.
