Woman Fatally Struck In Novato ID'd
Casandra Mullins-Lemon, 56, of Novato, was hit by a vehicle traveling east on Novato Boulevard.
NOVATO, CA – The Marin County Coroner's Office has identified the woman struck and killed by a vehicle in Novato as Casandra Mullins-Lemon.
Mullins-Lemon, 56, of Novato, was hit by a vehicle traveling east on Novato Boulevard between Simmons Lane and McClay Road around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Novato police.
Mullins-Lemon suffered injuries to her head and extremities. Officers and bystanders immediately began lifesaving measures, police said, but she died after being transported to Marin General Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
