(pressdemocrat.com) — Flights from Sonoma County Airport have been temporarily shifted away from west county communities like Occidental during the Bohemian Grove encampment, sharply reducing jet noise overhead. Local officials and residents are angry that relief appears possible for an elite retreat but not for year-round neighbors, and are pressing the FAA to explain why quieter routes can’t be used more consistently.
