Brush Fire Breaks Out On Camp Pendleton
Smoke may be visible in neighboring communities, officials said.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA – Crews quickly stopped a brush fire from spreading Thursday on Camp Pendleton.
The half-acre blaze broke out in the 62 Area of the military base, near San Clemente in Orange County, according t0 Camp Pendleton officials.
Firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority assisted the Camp Pendleton Fire Department in battling the flames. About 25 OCFA firefighters were at the scene, including a helicopter and dozer. There was no threat to Orange County.
