Buena Vista Audubon presents: Endangered Shorebirds of North County

Learn about local endangered snowy plovers and California least terns at Buena Vista Audubon’s monthly meeting Wednesday, May 13, at the Buena Vista Audubon Nature Center, 2202 S. Coast Highway. Field biologist Maryanne Bache will explore the challenges these birds face (such as finding quiet nesting sites on our crowded beaches), their survival strategies, and what is being done to help them.
