The Buena Vista Audubon Society and Preserve Calavera will hold an Endangered Species Day open house Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM-3 PM, at the Buena Vista Audubon Nature Center, 2202 S. Coast Highway. This free event has activities for the entire family. Interact with live animals from Eco-Vivarium’s traveling zoo. Discover fish and other aquatic life from the lagoon. Look through our new microscope to see the wiggly life in a drop of lagoon water. In our garden, help plant milkweed plants for endangered Monarch butterflies.
