Oceanside's Annual Independence Parade - Volunteers Needed Saturday
MainStreet Oceanside is seeking extra help for the Independence Parade. Volunteer orientation meetings tonight and Wednesday at 6 pm.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The annual Independence Parade is back after a two-year hiatus. MainStreet Oceanside has been hard at work to stage Oceanside's annual Independence Parade on June 25th.
"This is a complicated event to organize with over 125 entries and thousands of participants and spectators." said Parade Organizer, Cathy Nykiel, "An event like this requires many, many volunteers. We're getting down to the wire and finding ourselves short some helpers for the parade."
