• Quartz Hill rapper is among 3 charged in stolen checks scheme (avpress.com) — Federal prosecutors say a defendant in a large stolen-check scheme allegedly had more than 100 fraudulent checks worth over $6 million in his car while in Oceanside, tying the city to a wider Southern California investigation. Authorities allege three people deposited stolen Treasury and other checks across multiple counties, with potential sentences reaching decades in prison if they're convicted.
