• NCTD offers free rides Oct. 7 for Clean Air Day (thecoastnews.com) — Oceanside riders can hop on Coaster, Sprinter, Breeze, Flex and NCTD+ for free this Wednesday, Oct. 7, as North County Transit District marks California Clean Air Day. No PRONTO card or fare is needed, though NCTD+ requires the promo code "FREERIDE," giving locals an easy chance to try transit, save money, and cut emissions for a day.
