OCEANSIDE, CA — There are so many things to do in Oceanside for Labor Day Weekend it can be hard to choose. Here's our Patch pick of the best things to do this Holiday weekend.

MainStreet Oceanside’s Sunset Market is San Diego County's top weekly food and music street fair. Featuring up to 200 merchants and spanning four city blocks, every Thursday from 5-9 p.m.

Located on Pier View Way west of Coast Highway in Downtown Oceanside since 2007, this free, family-friendly event also features Dorothy’s KidZone with children’s activities. Tonight's live entertainment is featuring Red, White and Blues Band.

Oceanside Chamber of Commerce Business Mixer hosted by Agri Service at the El Corazon Compost Facility (3210 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, CA92056) Thursday, from 5 PM - 7 PM.

This is a great opportunity to get out and meet our Oceanside Business Community. Enjoy food and drinks hosted by Agri Service. You'll also get the unique opportunity to tour their El Corazon Compost Facility. Please remember to wear closed toed shoes as this is a requirement at the facility. This event will be $5 for Chamber members ($10 at the door) and $20 for prospective members. Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets for a chance to win some fun prizes.

Friday, September 3rd

Oceanside's First Friday Art Walk + Music at the Museum
September's First Friday Art Walk is coming up in Artist Alley from 5-9 pm with Music at the Museum Of Art with the Anthony Cullins Trio.

Artist Reception at the Brooks Theater Gallery on Friday, Sept. 3 from 6-8 pm. In collaboration with the Oceanside Museum of Art to host A Breath of Fresh Air, a Plein Air (painted outdoors) art exhibition at the Brooks Theater Gallery. Drop by, view the collection, and meet the artists. Light refreshments will be served and Robert Parker, a true artist on the keyboard, will entertain on OTC’s grand piano in the Gallery. Brooks Gallery is located at at 217 N. Coast Highway.

Saturday, September 4th

SoCal Blues Cup
Blues Cup is the best all girl premier soccer tournament in Southern California. September 4th - 6th. This is a Class I Tournament; open to USYSA and US Club Soccer teams. Events at the SoCal Sports Complex are available to the spectating public. There is a charge for parking which varies. SoCal Sports Complex and area information. 24th Annual Julian Grape Stomp Festa
The Julian Grape Stomp Festa takes place Sept. 4, 2021 at Menghini Winery. Continuing the old-world tradition of kicking off your shoes, rolling up your pant legs and letting tons of blessed grapes squish beneath your feet. In addition to the stomping, guests will be able to enjoy wine tasting, food sampling, live music and more. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Menghini Winery, 1150 Julian Orchards Drive, Julian. Regular admission is $20 and includes a wine glass. Tastings are $1. Reserved, shaded seating is available for $30. Tastings can also be pre-purchased. Whale Watching Adventure in Oceanside
Take an awe-inspiring whale and dolphin watching adventure. Oceanside Adventures trips are two hours long and are for everyone who loves the ocean. Get up close and personal to marine life minutes away from the harbor. Oceanside Adventures is a luxury whale and dolphin watching company located in front of the historic Lighthouse in Oceanside Harbor.

Monday, September 6th - LABOR DAY

92nd Annual Oceanside Labor Day Pier Swim
The Labor Day Pier Swim is an annual one-mile swim around the Oceanside Pier that began in 1929. The Annual Labor Day Pier Swim is the largest fundraiser held for Oceanside Swim Club every year on Labor Day. The mile long swim around the Oceanside Pier is a great team-bonding activity for OSC swimmers as well as a fun, physical activity for the community. Come join us on Labor Day for a swim around our famous pier.

September 17-19: The 15th Annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro
The 3-day event features surf contests, celebrity surf invitational, 20 live concerts, festival village, Super Girl Gamer Pro esports tournament and more!
The world's top professional female surfers — including members of the first-ever USA Olympic Surfing Team — will be back in Oceanside for the 15th annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, a World Surf League (WSL) Women's Qualifying Series (QS).
Pro Surfers, including Carissa Moore, Caroline Marks, Sage Erickson, Tatiana Weston-Webb, Tia Blanco (The Ultimate Surfer TV series) and former local champs, Caitlin Simmers (Oceanside) and Samantha Sibley (San Clemente) are expected to compete. Plus, celebrity surfers, music artists + more!

September 18, - 19: Oceanside Harbor Days
The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Tri-City Medical Center and Genentech present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. Featuring arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
Two event filled days of sun, sand, and surf provide an outstanding opportunity for residents and neighbors to experience fun activities such as a costume party for kids 12 and under (accompanied by parents) at Capt'n Junebug's Kids Zone where they'll meet local pirates and mermaids. Other activities include Arts, Crafts and Food booth areas, Military, Public Safety displays, music, a beer garden (patrons 21-years old and over with a valid ID showing proof of age required to enter) and more.

Saturday, October 2: Taste Of Oceanside
Downtown Oceanside's premier culinary experience. Taste your way through Oceanside's exciting food and brew scene one bite and sip at a time for $45 (food only) or $60 (food plus beer and wine tastings). The Friday night VIP Party also returns on Oct. 1 featuring a special guest chef, light fare with refreshments and live entertainment. VIP tickets are $125 and include a combo ticket for the Saturday event.

Friday, October 8: 40 Years of KOCT Celebration Fundraiser
KOCT Television is celebrating a 40 Year Legacy at the KOCT Television Soundstage in Oceanside, CA, and we would love for you to join us for a historic evening of live entertainment, silent auctions, raffles, dancing, studio tours, and friendship. Bring a friend to enjoy the evening!

The Celebration starts at 6PM and ends at 9PM on Friday, October 8th at the KOCT Television Studios. Price per person is $40 for 40 Years. Space is limited, purchase your tickets early!
