Big Rig Flips Onto Truck, Killing 1 In OC

ANAHEIM, CA — One person was killed when a big rig overturned onto their truck on the 57 Freeway in Anaheim late Thursday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Officers were called to the scene at around 8:30 p.m., after the big rig overturned for an unknown reason and landed on top of the Chevrolet truck on northbound lanes of State route 57 Freeway, near the State route 91 Freeway.

Fire crews extricated three people inside of the truck, one of which has died, according to CHP. Their name was not released.
