BUENA PARK, CA — A fire that blazed through the children's clothing section of an Orange County Target store Tuesday evening forced the evacuation of several shoppers, authorities said.

The fire was reported around 7 p.m. at the Target store in Buena Park, on Orangethorpe and Western avenues, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Upon arriving, firefighters found that store employees helped extinguish the fire but the store was filled with smoke, ABC7 reported.

Firefighters then evacuated the shoppers in the store, and no injuries were reported.

No information about the cause of the fire or the amount of financial damages incurred from the fire was reported.
