Man Who Molested 3 OC Boys Arrested In Florida, Police Say

A 54-year-old Florida man is awaiting extradition to Orange County to answer for molestation charges for three boys dating back to the 90s.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A man was behind bars Wednesday in Florida awaiting extradition to Orange County to face charges of molesting three boys in Huntington Beach dating back to the 90s, authorities said.

George Philip Foord, 54, was charged Nov. 19 with seven felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, court records showed.

According to the criminal complaint, Foord molested one boy between Feb. 1996 to Feb. 1998, a second boy from April 1998 through April 2001, and a third boy from Feb. 2000 through Feb. 2002.

One of the victims came forward to Huntington Beach police on Oct. 3, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The victims ranged in age from 12 to 16, police said.

Foord — who goes by Phil — lives in Ridge Manor, Florida, but was a Huntington Beach resident at the time of the alleged crimes.

Foord was arrested on the charges by deputies with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office last month, police said.

Police suspect there may be more victims and asked anyone with relevant information to call them at 714-536-5967. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at 855-TIP-OCCS.
Police released photos of Foord from 2001 and a more recent one from when he was arrested.
