New Plans Unveiled For Area Around Honda Center In Anaheim
Free parking, food halls and apartments are among the plans for the OCVibe Entertainment District in Anaheim.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — New plans for the OCVibe Entertainment district proposed around Anaheim's Honda Center have been unveiled, and the team behind the project said the new development will make it easier to get in and our of the area for hockey games, the Orange County Register reported.
The new district will benefit not only residents visiting the Honda Center in Anaheim, but those who aren't spending a dime at OCVibe's event venues or restaurant's can still enjoy the 8,000 on-site parking spots for free.
OCVibe is proposed as a nearly 100-acre community, including 5,700-seat concert venue, a public park with an outdoor amphitheater, about a dozen new restaurants and a food hall, two hotels, offices and 1,500 apartments, of which 195 would be designated for lower-income residents.

The Anaheim Ducks owners Henry and Susan Samueli are spearheading the project. Companies owned by the Samueli's also manage the city-owned Honda Center and ARCTIC transit station, as well as the Rinks ice skating facilities around the region.
