Suspicious Package Filled With Narcotics Found At Orange Home
A hazardous materials team was on hand overnight, as was the Orange County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad after the box was discovered.

ORANGE, CA — Orange police officers discovered a suspicious package at a city of Orange home late Monday, cops say. Hazardous material teams determined early Tuesday morning that the box contained a dangerous narcotic, according to an Orange Fire Department spokesperson.
At approximately 8 p.m., an Orange Police Department officer found the box and transported it to the Orange City Central Tow Yard in the 600 block of West Struck Street for investigation, according to Lt. Mike Monjaraz of the Orange Police Department.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad, along with a Huntington Beach Fire Department HazMat team and Orange Fire Department crews responded to the scene.

"It could have been bad if in the wrong hands," an Orange Fire Department battalion chief told a news photographer at the scene.
The Orange Police Department investigated to determine the type of narcotic.
