Wednesday

A Grape in the Fog After-Market

Join your neighbors after shopping the Farmers Market at Rockaway Beach at A Grape in the Fog for music, food and wine sampling, every Wednesday from 5:30  to 7:30 p.m. The Pacifica Farmers Market happens every Wednesday in Rockaway Beach through December.

Thursday

Pacifica Mother's Club General Meeting

The Community is welcome to attend the Pacifica Mother's Club's next General Meeting on Thursday, August 1 at 7:00pm at the Pacifica Sharp Park Library. The topic is: Food and Behavior Connection with Dr. Sarah Rothman.

Saturday

Coastal 5K & Kid's 100 Yard Beach Dash

This second annual event, hosted by and benefitting the Pacifica Resource Center, takes place on Saturday and offers choices for runners and walkers of all levels. The 5K (3.1 mile) run takes place from 9 am to 10:30 am, starting at the Pacifica Pier. The Kid's 100 Yard Dash, not timed, takes place on the beach near the Pacifica Pier at 11 a.m,. and offers three separate races for ages 1-2 years, 3-5 years, and 6-8 years. Both the 5K and the 100 Yard Dash require registration and a fee.  Warm-up begins at 8:40/8:45 am, race starts at 9 am. Starting line is the Pacifica Pier. Registration is open now and space is limited.

Historic Walking Tour: Milagra Ridge

Discover Milagra Ridge’s military history from World War II gun emplacements for coastal defense to the Nike missle launch site (1955-1974). Part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Milagra Ridge off Sharp Park is one of the few remaining habitats for the mission blue butterfly. Walking shoes are recommended for this two-hour hike on level ground.
