• Update: Aug. 26 - 2.3 magnitude earthquake registered near Pacifica, CA (fresnobee.com) — A small 2.3 magnitude earthquake shook near Pacifica on Wednesday evening, with an epicenter about a mile southeast of town and six miles deep. While damage is unlikely from such a minor tremor, residents are reminded to report what they felt to USGS and review basic "drop, cover, and hold on" earthquake safety steps.
