Deadline Approaches to Get Refunds for Cancelled Campsites
The deadline is this coming week.

The drought affected services at some San Mateo County Parks this year, including the closure of campsites at Memorial Park. People who had already paid for campsites are now facing a deadline to get their money back.
The Parks Department advises, “Earlier this year our Reservation staff contacted all reservation holders about the cancellation of all camping reservations at Memorial County Park due to the drought. At that time, we offered options to either reschedule a reservation for the 2015 camping season or receive a refund. Reservation staff have not received a response from all those affected.
“If you had a reservation for this camping season at Memorial Park and have not followed up on our phone calls and/or emails, you must do so by Thursday, October 30 in order to provide a refund or reschedule your camping reservation. We will not be able to honor requests after October 30.
