Help With Purissima Old Town Site Habitat Restoration Efforts

Purissima Old Town Site Habitat Restoration WorkdayDiscover the land once occupied by the town of Purissima during Coastside Land Trust’s first habitat restoration workday of 2015! On Saturday, February 7 from 10am–Noon, join us as we continue to restore native vegetation at the old town site. Work will focus on removing invasive plants and maintaining a small foot trail leading to a meadow. Wear long sleeves, pants, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and bring gloves and buckets. All ages welcome, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the corner of Verde Road and Highway 1 (same turn as Elkus Ranch).

What: Purissima Old Town Site Habitat Restoration Workday
When: Saturday, February 7 from 10am–Noon
Where: Corner of Verde Rd and Hwy 1, same turn as UC Elkus Ranch. Turn left on the first Verde Road from southbound Hwy 1 (approximately 1 mile south of HMB city limits)
Details: Bring buckets and gloves, all other materials provided by CLT

Native Plants for Sale
Locally raised native plants are for sale - $5 at our office on Main Street, Half Moon Bay. Species include yarrow, lizard tail, bee plant, strawberry, wild rose, currant, and gowen cypress trees. Come during gallery hours or call 650-726-5056 to make an appointment.
