Do You Know These Up-and-Coming Jazz Musicians?

Music Matters in Pacifica held its very on Saturday, Jan. 28. It was a resounding success.

The organization, which falls under the umbrella of the Pacifica Education Foundation, has stepped in where the Rob Schneider Foundation by funding music programs at Pacifica's schools.

Its support goes to provide students at , , and with working instruments, trips and sheet music.

Saturday night began with a performance by the Cabrillo/Vallemar "Snazzy, Jazzy Jazz Band" and went on to feature the Ingrid B. Lacy/Ocean Shore Jazz Band. Special guests, the Jazz Ensemble, played next. 

Later in the evening, professional jazz musicians took the stage for an adults-only concert with hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
