Nearly 1,300 Lose Power in Daly City, Brisbane Areas

The cause of the outage is under investigation.

Update 10 p.m.:

Service has been mostly restored to nearly 1,300 customers after a power outage Monday afternoon in parts of Brisbane and Daly City, utility officials said.

The power outage impacting 1,284 customers was reported shortly after 4 p.m., PG&E spokesman Jason King said.

A majority of the impacted customers are in Brisbane, he said.

A downed wire found in the 400 block of Valley Drive in Brisbane caused the outage, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

As of 8:45 p.m., power has been restored to all but nine customers in Brisbane, Guidi said. The remaining customers are expected to have power back by 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to Guidi.

Crews are at the scene investigating the cause of the outage and a downed wire was found on Valley Drive in Brisbane, King said.

Power is estimated to be restored around 7:30 p.m., according to King.
