PRE-Kahuna Kupuna Party at Longboard Margarita Bar

The 2nd Annual "PRE-Kahuna Kupuna Party" on Saturday June 21, 2014 will take place at the Longboard Margarita Bar in the Eureka Square shopping center in Pacifica from 3 PM to 7 PM. (This is the kick off for next month's annual Kahuna Kupuna Surf Contest on 7/19 at Linda Mar Beach that serves as the primary fundraiser for Pacifica's Environmental Family, the non-profit fiscal sponsor of the Pacifica Beach Coalition, Pacifica Gardens and other grass roots environmental groups in Pacifica.) The party tomorrow afternoon will feature tasty pupus, great live Blues music from Simon Govan Smith's Feral Moon Blues Band and special guest Chris Cobb, a great blues guitarist who lives in Pacifica plus some cool raffle prizes and lots of great people to hang with. In addtion, this year's T-Shirts for the Kahuna Kupuna Surf Contest will make their debut. They're beautiful, featuring a awesome block print of Pedro Point by local artist and Sirens Gift Shop co-owner Grace Kavanaugh. If you are free that afternoon, come on over and join us. A modest donation of $5 will be requested at the door but no one will be refused entry due to inability to pay. All are welcome.
