VIDEO: Cabrillo Students Raise Over $1,500 For Japan By Folding Paper Cranes

Every paper crane folded by a student is equal to $1 of relief money for Japan.

teacher Meghann Elsbernd found the One Million Cranes Project online and got her students busy folding cranes for Japan. Each one is worth $1 in relief efforts. 

So far the school has raised over $1,500 and its halls and classrooms are lined with the colorful oragami--a lasting tribute to the troubled nation.
