Photo Gallery: Stars Support 'Designs for the Cure'
Celebrities and cancer survivors joined fashion designer David Meister in Pacific Palisades to raise funds for breast cancer research.
It was a star-studded evening at the in Pacific Palisades on Oct. 28. Celebrities and fashion icons walked the pink carpet for “Designs for the Cure,” a Susan G. Komen benefit event.
Guests included fashion designer and honoree, David Meister along with Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage), Nazanin Boniadi (How I Met Your Mother), Nicky Whelan (Scrubs, Hall Pass), Parvarti Shallow (winner of the show Survivor), Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy), Sara Rue (Rules of Engagement) and guitarist Slash from the rock band Guns N' Roses.
The pink carpet was accompanied by a pink sailboat and pink motorcycle both to be auctioned off at a later event.

The evening included a cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction and a preview of David Meister’s Fall 2011 collection.
The gala was held to raise money for breast cancer awareness, research, treatment and education.
