The City of Palm Desert has cancelled its regularly scheduled docent-guided public art tour for October 8.
From the City of Palm Desert:
PALM DESERT, CA – The City of Palm Desert has cancelled its regularly scheduled docent-guided public art tour in October. The tour, scheduled for Saturday, October 8, would have featured the sculptures of the 2015/2016 El Paseo Exhibition, which are being removed to make way for a new exhibition. Docent tours will resume in November with a tour of the art in Civic Center Park.
The 2017/2018 El Paseo Exhibition will celebrate its official debut during a special event on Saturday, January 7, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, in front of The Gardens on El Paseo. Each exhibition features 18 sculptures, created by artists from around the United States, which remain on display on the El Paseo median for two years.
